1. SCOPE AND WHO WE ARE
This Cookie Policy applies to the GWMApp Sites and related services operated by ECE Global. For details on how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information generally, please refer to our Privacy Policy. Terms defined in the Privacy Policy have the same meaning here.
2. WHAT ARE COOKIES & SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device to remember information about you. Related technologies include web beacons, pixels, SDKs, local storage, and device identifiers. These technologies help us operate the Sites, measure performance, remember preferences, and support security.
3. TYPES OF COOKIES WE USE
- Essential (Strictly Necessary): Required for core functionality (e.g., login, session management, security, load balancing). These cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Functional (Preferences): Enable enhanced functionality and personalization (e.g., language, region, saved settings). If you disable these, some or all services may not function properly.
- Analytics (Performance): Help us understand how visitors use the Sites so we can measure and improve performance (e.g., page views, events, crash data). Data is typically aggregated.
- Advertising (Targeting): May be set by us or our partners to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant content or ads on other sites. You can opt out where legally required.
- Social Media: Set by social platforms to enable sharing and sign-in features. These can track your browser across other sites and build a profile of your interests.
4. COOKIES ON GWMAPP (EXAMPLES)
The specific cookies and retention periods may change. Your current settings can be managed via the “Manage Cookies” button. Examples of cookies we may use include:
- Session / Authentication: session_id, auth_token (Essential) — maintain login state and secure sessions.

- Analytics: _ga, _gid, _gat or equivalent (Analytics) — measure traffic and usage (aggregated). We configure analytics to avoid identifying individual users and respect local consent requirements.
- Advertising / Social: Only if enabled and consented (Advertising/Social). If used, they may help deliver interest-based content on other sites.
Note: The above list is illustrative. Your actual cookies depend on your configuration and integrations.
5. HOW TO MANAGE COOKIES
You can manage your preferences at any time through the button below or the footer link on our Sites. Browser controls also allow you to block or delete cookies; however, essential cookies are required for the Sites to function and cannot be disabled.
- Consent Manager: Adjust category-level consent (Essential, Functional, Analytics, Advertising/Social).
- Browser Settings: Instructions are available from your browser provider (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
- Mobile Settings: OS settings may control advertising identifiers and app tracking permissions.
6. GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROLS & DO-NOT-SELL/SHARE
Where required by law (e.g., CPRA/CCPA), we recognize applicable opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) for the specific browser/device that sends the signal. If we engage in activities considered “selling” or “sharing” under applicable law, you can exercise your rights via the Manage Cookies button or a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer.
7. DATA RETENTION
Cookie lifetimes vary by type and purpose. Session cookies expire when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until their set expiration date or until you delete them. We retain cookie-derived analytics data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above or as required by law.
